Description
Papyrus Oud / 71 by Parle Moi de Parfum
50ml Eau de Parfum
Olfactive Family – Oriental
Reminiscence of the past ? Rather than the future. Papyrus Oud / 71 is a meeting point between two spaces of time.
A reminder of a major success that our perfumer released in 2003, Papyrus Oud / 71 is the future of this accord, the modernised past, the student surpassing the master, an inimitable neo-retro by none other than Michel Almairac.
Geographically, let us say culturally, this creation is the perfect meeting point between the Middle East and the West. The spiritual tradition of incense and precious woods, including Papyrus, emblem of Lower Egypt and the Renaissance, is the highlight, worked with the subtle delicacy of Western accords.
A stroll on the Nile with a view of the Eiffel Tower. An oriental palace in the heart of Hyde Park. Let your mind transport you into this unique journey.
Head Notes – Papyrus
Heart Notes – Chinese Ginger, Somalian Incense
Base Notes – Musk, Oudh
Parle Moi de Parfum is all about family. Benjamin Almairac grew up with stories about perfume that his father brought home from work. He dreamt of creating a venue right in the centre of Paris where the public could discover the finest fragrances that Michel Almairac had always dreamed of creating and staging. The brand name is a clear declaration of intent: to talk about perfume and nothing else.
It was absolutely obvious! I was steeped in perfume when I was a boy. It was difficult to miss!
